SEMESTER 1
GREETINGS AND INTRODUCTION
Greetings and introduction are important expressions used to begin communication when we meet other people in daily life. Greetings are polite words or phrases used to say hello and show friendliness, such as hello, hi, good morning, good afternoon, and good evening. These expressions are usually said at the beginning of a conversation to make others feel comfortable and respected. Introduction is used to tell simple information about ourselves so that other people can know us better, such as our name, age, or status, for example by saying my name is Rani, I am eight years old, or I am a student. By learning greetings and introduction, students can practice good manners, communicate politely with teachers and friends, and build positive relationships at school and at home. Using greetings and introduction correctly also helps students feel more confident when speaking English and encourages them to use English in simple daily conversations.

SIMPLE SENTENCES
A simple sentence is a short sentence that tells one complete idea. It has someone or something (who or what) and an action or description. A simple sentence helps us speak and write clearly.
To make a simple sentence, we usually follow this pattern:
Subject + Verb + Object / Information
First, choose the subject, which is the person, animal, or thing.
Second, add the verb, which tells the action or condition.
Third, add extra information if needed, such as an object or place.
For example:
The cat is on the table.
